You'll no doubt be throwing questions our way.. that mix software is
pretty intimidating at first.
Use Audacity for the voice clips.
And.. after you get your hour mixed, you have to save as a .wav file,
import it into Audacity, then export as mp3. Saves something like 600megs
that way.

I used to own a 25 watt FM exciter that transmitted on 89.1. I made a
JPole antenna for it and had a range of like 3 miles. This was back when I
was 19 and my younger sister who was in high school told me one day some
students were talking about my station WLSD. :) I interviewed my friends
(no real names given) hit the bong over the air, played a lot of Zepplin,
and other rock bands popular back in the early 70's. Did this for maybe 6
months until the exciter died on me and couldn't be fixed.

In case you don't know what an exciter is, it's the part of the
transmitter that creates the modulated signal on frequency then sends it
to a big ass amplifier. Kind of like you do with a CB and a linear amp.

The hardware is mind-boggling to me. I'm *so* very glad I'm on this end of
it.. Seen pics of the transmitter we use. OMGs!!
