Ours only get dry, too. Anything else and there's cat puke all over the
place.
I hope they're safe, too. Haven't heard about anything other than that
gravy food being bad.
What a horrible thing to go through. They showed a dog on CNN this morning
waiting to see a vet. He looked -bad- I don't know if he made it or not.

I for one only feed my cat dry food.. Purina Adult Cat Urinary tract
type.. its good stuff.. even the roomate tasted it to make sure.
On the wet food.. i go with 9 lives.. usually a can of something that looks good to *me*. Like the chicken in gravy.. my cat licks the gravy.. and the other cat eats the chicken.. I give that to them once a week.. then I got them that waterfall they love.. so its filtered damn water.. better then what I get.. they are so friggen spoiled.

YIKES!
heh.. I checked.. they am safe.

I dont know either.. but two nights ago.. one of my cats ate a mouse.. and the mouse was eating one of the cat foods on the list.
He raises the mice to feed the lizards and whatnots he sells at the flea market.. the mice are feeder mice.. and he had a big kill .. so before he found out it was the food.. he let loose ALLLLL the mice outside.. real friggen nice of the dummy.. anyway.. I think my cat tigger got a hold of one of the mice.. I found a dead one on my sidewalk in front of my door.. so I buried it.. and that night.. my cat shit.. and puked at the same time.. on the boy.. on his blanket.. while he was sleeping.. bwahahahhahahaha.. (sowwy.. that shit was funnny as hell at the time.).. but now my tigger is doing just fine.

Ours only eat dry food. Seriously. They puke up anything else. They'll eat
the cheap store brand, but they like Meow Mix best. We've had crab and
fettucini and I've tried giving the cats some crab. No way. What kinda cat
won't eat crab?

Actually both eat cat food. It's a little high in protein for large
sedentary dogs like an old hound dog or Lab but for a high strung Pom it's
ok according to his vet. Plus he gets walked all the time and runs around
here like crazy so he needs the protein.

My ol' pit/newfoundland hound used to love cat food.

No fartz from this little furrr-ball. I even brush his teeth with a
chicken flavored toothbrush :) You'd shit watching him roll his lips up
like he was gunna bite when it comes to brush time. The kitty also has
good dental hygiene tho I don't brush him. I won't feed either wet food
for the simple fact it does nothing to promote good dental health and good
breath.

Try to video him getting his teeth brushed. That'd be awesome.
Every animal I've ever had got diarreah from wet food. That's why they
only got it once.
Our cats have horrible breath. Any suggestions?

They sell kitty mints.. really they do.. ask CS.. she has them for
moonshadow.
The problem I have with them are they look like pills.. and if you were to
drop
a perocet on the floor.. your cat could think its a kitty breath mint.. eat
the perc..
and OD.

but they work on the breath thingy.

They sell kitty mints.. really they do.. ask CS.. she has them for
moonshadow.
The problem I have with them are they look like pills.. and if you were to
drop
a perocet on the floor.. your cat could think its a kitty breath mint.. eat
the perc..
and OD.
but they work on the breath thingy.
Yeh I forgot about them. She gave Kiku a couple the last time I had him
with me.
w00t!! A brand new seed&feed is opening today right down the road.
They're having a "Gala Grand Opening" !!!!
Maybe they'll sell cat breath mints!
One can hope..

We've got a couple pet super stores around here. I got our kitty from one
a couple years ago. And they don't let just anyone who walks in with $50
have one. FFS it was like they were going to run a background check on me.
The $50 BTW was for spay/neuter and shots.

Some pet foods cause kidney failure.
And teh kitties, too.
The wet food, in gravy, is whats doing it.
I blame Canada.
I agree, It's a plot by the Kanadans to rid the population of sweet
lil pets.

They killed Kitty! Those bastards!
