alas "ryannosaurus" is no more

We believe that "alt.ryannosaurus" newsgroup is no more, it would appear to
be almost completely over run by both *TROLLS* and *SPAMMERS*.
It is for that very sad reason that we are forced to remove it from our list
of newsgroups that we like to cross-post to and replace it with another
newsgroup that goes by the name of "alt.fan.steveleyland".

What is your Halloween candy dispenser of choice, by that we mean just what
kind of container if any do you use to hand out Halloween candy to the
trick
or treaters that come to your door, and do they get to see just what kind
of
dispenser you like to use ?

Over the years we have used quite a variety of containers to greet the
children with as they ask "trick or treat ?"We used to have a very large
cardboard box with all the Halloween candy mixed up in side of it, which
Cur
would take hand full's and place in side of an old Civil Defense hat and
let
the little children pick their candy. Other years we used either a plastic
witches cauldron or a pumpkin head. Now that we are retired Cur has found
an
old milking bucket that has seen better days, on it he has stuck some of
the
warning labels that he got from his friends at the local hospital, the
labels are of the bio-hazard, radio active and flammable type etc. Now Cur
has spray painted a luminous sheen over these stickers. It does have an
eerie effect for sure.Our outside porch light this year is one of those
novelty multi colored types, we should get a good moody effect this year.By
heck and hades we just might even get some snow.
