Body-Integrity Identify Disorder, is truly one of the most bizarre mental
illness anyone can suffer from.
This rare mental ailment is diagnosis by a relentless desire to amputate
their otherwise healthy limbs.
But this illness does not impair their ability to relate to other people,
they are completely in touch with reality.
Psychiatry does not work, nor does any kind of medication.
B.I.I.D. suffers now use the internet to lobby for both safe and legal
surgery to end their mental torment.
Drastic as this measure may seem, it is the only thing that seems to work
for them.
Hollywood is now coming out with a movie called *Quid Pro Quo* about a
reporter who is trying to track down someone who has offered a doctor
$25,000 to amputate his leg.

*Body-Integrity Identity Disorder*

It is indeed a truly bizarre mental illness
The film's unusual, to say the least, and has had mixed reviews..

By the way it was $250,000 offered to the doctor in the film..
(I've not seen it yet, I've just read that in the film description)
